The Healthy Tan System
This method of tanning is really body airbrushing. The active ingredient, DHA, has been approved by the FDA for cosmetic applications and has been used for over 30 years without harmful effects. The DHA reacts with the skin's amino acids resulting in a golden tan appearance that can last up to ten days.
Research tells us that everybody's skin reacts just a little different. While some clients will show a great tan look with the first application, not all skin types react that quickly. Therefore, we always insist that all clients receive two applications, with the second application no sooner that three hours and no longer than twenty-four hours later. This is for the very first time to insure that they will be happy with the results. Subsequent applications can be done once every four to seven days to maintain a very nice tan appearance.
